The Maddison McKenzie Agama Spencer Foundation (MMAS Foundation Ltd) was founded in 2012 as a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to making a positive and lasting difference within local communities.

The Foundation’s journey began with an extraordinary act of kindness from its namesake, Maddison, who was just five years old. After learning about a local family who had lost everything in a devastating house fire, Maddison made the selfless decision to donate all of his Christmas and birthday money to help them rebuild their lives.

His generosity provided the family with essential items including beds, bedding, clothing, school uniforms and other everyday necessities. Alongside this, MMAS Foundation successfully advocated on the family’s behalf, helping them access emergency accommodation before they were eventually rehoused.

What began as one child’s compassionate act demonstrated that even the smallest gesture can have a life-changing impact.

Today, MMAS Foundation has grown into a respected community organisation that continues to build on those founding values of kindness, compassion and social responsibility.

Working alongside trusted partners, the Foundation delivers a wide range of projects and services designed to improve lives, strengthen communities and create opportunities for people of all ages and backgrounds.

 Although MMAS Foundation has grown considerably since 2012, our purpose remains exactly the same—to support people when they need it most and create opportunities that transform lives.

We firmly believe that one act of kindness can inspire another, and that by working together we can build stronger, healthier and more inclusive communities.

Maddison McKenzie Agama Spencer is the founder and Chief Executive Officer of the MMAS Foundation. Having overcome challenges from an early age, Maddison is passionate about ensuring that other young people and adults facing disadvantage have access to opportunities, support and encouragement to achieve their full potential.

His vision for the MMAS Foundation is to create an organisation where people feel valued, included and empowered to build brighter futures. Through education, employability, personal development and community engagement, Maddison is committed to helping individuals develop confidence, independence and the skills needed to reach their goals.

Under his leadership, the MMAS Foundation continues to grow through innovative projects, strong community partnerships and a commitment to making a lasting difference in people’s lives.
